Hemlock State was built to explore beer. It was formed by three experienced homebrewers who love to cook and love to innovate. Let's be honest: we started this completely as a hobby and our hobby has gotten a bit out of hand. In the back of our collective mind somewhere, we thought maybe, just maybe we'd one day open a shop.
For the last three years, we've brewed in a garage in Shoreline and opened on Saturdays to welcome anyone who'd be willing to give us a shot. The response has completely blown us away. For the last two years, we haven't been able to keep up with demand and we've scrambled to find a new home with capacity for us to grow.
This is for you folks. We brew the beer, but you make it special. We're super excited to bring the vibe that we had in our garage in Shoreline to Mountlake Terrace.
