(Snohomish County) The weather much like this past May has produced some lower than normal temperatures but like May's exit from this year's calendar the winds seem to be warming up. Last May under the guidance of Matt Younts, Mike Baker, Ian Roberts , and Nat Pellman; Seattle and the surrounding area demonstrated the strong support that this area has for craft beer. Although last May is gone and the next iteration of Seattle Beer Week is less than a year away there is still another chance to relish in good beer and great food.

Snohomish Craft Beer Week which is in its first year is a celebration of craft breweries and proprietors to the north of Seattle. The week long event will not only demonstrate the truly local breweries but also some of the other beers that one can find without the necessity of traveling to Seattle. The chief architect's behind Snohomish Craft Beer Week are none other than Matt Younts of Click Wholesale and George Shiley of Fred's Rivertown Alehouse.

The event starts at Fred's Rivertown Alehouse on the 17th and continues its way throughout the many establishments in Snohomish County before the conclusion on Sunday the 23rd at Diamond Knot in Mukilteo. …
