Beer Release: WA: Get It Now … Fremont Trifecta India Pale Ale. The official beer of Brouwer’s, Bottleworks, and The Burgundian

image of Brouwer's Cafe at night, courtesy of P D Gibson's Flickr pageBeveridge Place has one, The Yard House has one, Brave Horse has one, even Naked City has one. Give up? The answer is a house beer.

What’s a house beer? It’s the name given to a beer that has been selected by the publican to be featured with the publican’s endorsement. Sometimes it masked behind the restaurant or public house’s logo. While other times it right there hiding amongst the other beers, with the familiar logo staring at you.

For the owner & brain trusts at Bottleworks, Brouwer’s Cafe, and The Burgundian Tavern it’s Trifecta India Pale Ale.

More on what makes Trifecta India Pale Ale worth the trip.

This refreshing and voluptuous Northwest IPA rides atop a mighty steed with muscles made of Pale, Wheat, and Dark Munich malts adorned with Super Galena, Centennial, and Simcoe hops for a balanced flavor ride. Malt, Hops and a smooth 5.5% ABV. Score a a Trifecta today. Brewed as the year-round house IPA for the Brouwers/Bottleworks/Burgundian beer empire; for beer lovers, by beer lovers.

Brewed in the Fremont neighborhood by (naturally) Fremont Brewing, this beer ushers in a business experiment by ‘The Matt’s’.

At 5.5% ABV and  60 IBU this beer has been described as a ‘sessionable’ India Pale Ale. And after enjoying a pint (or two) we couldn’t agree more (to coin the phrase). If you missed the simultaneous release at Brouwer’s Cafe, Bottleworks, or The Burgundian Tavern, there is time to stop by and enjoy a pint.

Cheers

Paul Gibson originally hails from Carlsbad, New Mexico, so it’s no wonder he prefers the Northwest’s cooler temperatures and its vast selection of hoppy delicious beers. As a kid, he first started taking photos with an Instamatic of his friends on their BMX bikes. Now he takes photos of beer, breweries and on occasion street photography, events and concerts—minus the Instamatic. You can see more of his photos on Flickr (www.flickr.com/photos/p_d_gibson ).
