Event Planner: WA: 3/16 New Belgium Scavenger Hunt to Benefit Surfrider is coming.

We are willing to bet that whenever the words scavenger hunt are spoken, one cannot resist phrases like “x marks the spot” or "found it”. So we can’t resist uttering those same words in the same breath as Fat Tire, La Folie, or Ranger India Pale Ale.

Coming this March (16th) New Belgium Brewery will visit Summit Central for the 2013 “New Belgium's Scavenger Hunt”

Summarizing their words for your benefit, the brewery is visiting several states to promote charitable giving, while encouraging a little bit of deduction. Of course this isn’t a scavenger hunt on the slopes of Snoqualmie Summit without adding a little downhill action.

Groups of one to four are encouraged to purchase tickets, think of a costumed theme, and have a designated driver handy. Each person will be asked to search throughout the mountain for continuously migrating or stationary clues. Expected answer skill will vary from easy to difficult.

Finally, the first team to answer all the clues is crowned the 2013 winner.

Cost to enter the enter the scavenger hunt is $10 per person, plus the cost of your lift ticket.

New Belgium created the Scavenger Hunt Series seven years ago. For more information, check out http://www.newbelgium.com/events/scavenger-hunt.aspx.
