If you’ve been watching the Seattle weather report you have no doubt assumed Spring is here. Checking the calendar on the other hand confirms the unfortunate! Yep, it’s still Winter. In fact there are only a few days left before Spring becomes the word uttered by all from Home Depot to the local garden shop.

So let’s celebrate the death of Winter, this Wednesday, by toasting a few beers that cannot be confused for ‘thirst quenching’, at The Noble Fir

Noble Fir? It’s on 5316 Ballard Ave NW  in Seattle’s Ballard neighborhood. Open from 4PM – 12 AM (on most days), the Noble Fir remains a favorite of craft beer advocates and locals alike. Owned and operated by Ellen Kelly (yeah that Ellen) and Rick Weersing, it’s a sure bet you will find one or both of them attending the bar throughout the week.
