Event Planner: WA: 6/20 - 6/21 The Sixgill is the official beer garden for the Fremont Summer Solstice

Saturday, June 21st, is recognized as the first day of Summer. Commonly recalled as the Summer Solstice, the day is often associated with the longest day of the year.

In Seattle's Fremont neighborhood, this day is marked with parades, celebration, and of course beer.

The Sixgill, located at 3417 Evanston Avenue North, will be celebrating the Solstice by providing enthusiastic revelers with a beer garden. Starting Friday from 4pm (to Midnight) and 12pm, The Sixgill will feature beers from the following breweries:

Double Mountain (Vaporizer Pale Ale), North Coast (Scrimshaw Pilsner), pFriem (Wit), American (Breakaway India Pale Ale), and cidery Anthem. Plus for those not inspired by beer or cider, the bar will feature cocktails and food, to commemorate the longest day of the year.
