Event Planner: WA: 7/30 Brouwer’s Café hosts Sierra Nevada Beer Camp Across America (12) tap takeover

Seattle - This Wednesday, Brouwer’s Café (400 N 35th Street) is hosting the next stop of the “Beer Camp Across America”. Presented by Sierra Nevada and in collaboration with 12 “exceptional” breweries, the 12 pack can be found in grocery stores throughout the United States. Adding to this, Sierra Nevada is hosting several festivals across the country.

Great stories are often shared over a pint or two, and when you get 13 gregarious brewers together in one place the tall tales and crazy ideas begin to flow as fast as the taps can fill the glasses. Gathering this much brewing talent to work on a single 12-pack has been an amazing experience. We’ve long admired our partners’ beers, and it’s been an honor to combine each other’s brewhouse smarts to devise a dozen brews whose flavors are so wonderfully all over the map.

Oh, and about that map: this summer we’re all getting on a bus together for a whirlwind cross-country celebration of our mutual passions.  For us, it feels more like gathering up our friends for the beer road trip to end all others. Come along with us and create some new stories of your own. There has never been a better time to be a beer lover.

Cheers!

As they have done at Super Deli and The Yard Café, the folks at Sierra Nevada are sharing all 12 of their beers, on draft. For those that are stumped on where to score a 12 pack, this will be a rare opportunity to check out the beers in person.

Included at this event will be breweries:

  • Russian River
  • Allagash
  • Bell’s
  • 3 Floyds
  • Cigar City
  • Ashville Brewers Alliance
  • New Glarus
  • as well as Ninkasi, Firestone Walker, Ballast Point, Victory, and Oskar Blues.

The event kicks off at 6pm with both 5 ounce ‘tasters’ and 12 ounce glasses for those looking to enjoy a couple. Plus the bar will feature rare beers from some of the featured breweries.
