Pike Brewing Company releases two new Third Story Series beers, Quad and Blackberry Quad.

Announced this past week, Pike Brewing Company has tapped Quad & Blackberry Quad.

Released as part of their Third Story series, these unique beers pay homage the brewery's emergence from the historic depths of Pike Brewing Company, Quad or Quadrupel, is a Belgian-style Quad inspired by the Strong Dark Ales of Belgium. However, those expecting a clone of the world-class La Trappe Quadrupel or Straffe Hendrik Quadrupel should sip this sweet, high-alcohol beer with an open mind.

Created and tasted by the brewers of Pike, guided by head brewer Art Dixon, Pike's Third Story Quad inspires initial thoughts of dark berries and plums, before an alcoholic warmth walks hand in hand with warm spiciness. On the other side of the barrel, Pike's Third Story Blackberry Quad features blackberry added after post-fermentation. Look for both of these on draft at Pike Brewing Company's "The Pike Pub" between now and until they kegs run dry.
