Today we release our first stab at a relatively new style of beer: Brut IPA. What’s that? It’s a style of beer developed in San Francisco earlier this year that has the hop levels of a Northeast IPA (like Luxury Jet), but is extremely dry with no residual sweetness (like a Brut Champagne). If you like hop flavor and aroma, but don’t like juiciness or bitterness, well here ya go.

We call ours Brutal Approach #1. This version features an all German Hallertauer Blanc hop base, which gives it notes of white grape, pineapple and passionfruit. On tap today at the Tap Room & Brewery and over the next couple of days at The Bistro & Beer Garden.
