It's that time of year again to celebrate the venerable German tradition of Oktoberfest.
The original "Oktoberfest" occurred in Munich, on October 18, 1810 to celebrate the marriage of Crown Prince Ludwig and Princess Therese. Today more than six million people attend the sixteen-day festival during late September. According to recent estimates, nearly 7 million liters of beer are consumed during the festival!
Our humble festivities in Burien will take place Saturday, September 26. Look for live music, special beers and food, and an outdoor beer garden! More details later as they become available.
