Tickets are on sale, for this year's South Sound Winter Beer Festival in Puyallup
The Washington Beer Commission will host its 6th Annual South Sound Winter Beer Festival on Saturday, November 9, at its new venue, the Mattress Firm Showplex at the Washington State Fairgrounds in Puyallup, just a 15 minute drive from its previous home at the Tacoma Dome Exhibition Hall. This will be the second year that the South Sound Washington Beer Commission tasting event will feature the very popular winter beer theme.
The South Sound Winter Beer Festival will feature some of the first tastes of winter beers from 27 Washington breweries. Sample seasonal favorites such as dark imperial stouts, roasty porters, strong beers, Scottish ales, barrel-aged surprises, spiced ales, piney IPAs, and many more creative brews for the early winter season.
The tasting event will take place on Saturday, November 9, with a noon - 6pm tasting session. Admission is only $20 in advance and $25 at the door and includes a commemorative tasting cup along with eight, 4oz. sample tastes. Additional tastes will be available for purchase at $2 each.
