The winter season is upon us and that means it’s time for a strong, rich beer to keep everyone warm. We love our darker beers at Kelowna Brewing Company so for this recipe we started with a combination of roasted malts to give flavour and complexity. We topped all this off with a good helping of molasses in the boil. The resulting beer has a big hit of maltiness, with a nice balanced sweetness and distinctive notes of treacle and toffee.
