Portland, OR - Get ready for the ride of a lifetime as the Portland Soapbox Derby celebrates its 25th anniversary at the iconic Mt. Tabor Park on Saturday, August 17th! This year, the event promises to be bigger and better than ever, with a lineup of exciting new additions to mark this special milestone.
Among the highlights of the celebration is the debut of a special 25th-anniversary beer created by Migration Brewing. The light lager, provided specially for this occasion, boasts a refreshing 4.3% ABV and promises to be the perfect accompaniment to a day filled with racing excitement. “We’re really excited to be working with the Adult Soapbox team at one of the most quintessential Portland experiences,” says Migration Co-Founder, Colin Rath.
Adding to the festivities, StormBreaker Brewing will be unveiling their new 12 oz can and the rebranding of their flagship Cloud Ripper IPA. The beer is 6.4% ABV and is characterized by its juicy and refreshing profile, dominated by citrus flavors with a backdrop of sweet tropical undertones of mango and apricot. “The decision to rebrand and release this beer in cans coincides perfectly with the 25th anniversary celebration of the PDX Adult Soapbox Derby, where we will officially launch it on August 17th," states StormBreaker Co-Owner Rob Lutz.
