Festival Preview: WA: Tacoma Craft Beer Fest returns 9/3 to Downtown Tacoma.

image sourced from the Tacoma Craft Brew Festival Tacoma, WA – It wouldn’t be Wednesday without mentioning an upcoming event (technically in September).

Ever since this writer moved to Seattle there has been a strange, psychological, repulsion to the ‘South End’. This isn’t a hate for Pierce or Kitsap counties per se. But there has been something keeping me from getting in the car and making the drive down to Tacoma, Kent, Auburn, or even Gig Harbor. Who knows why this is the case.

Then again the third annual Tacoma Craft Beer Festival is happening on Saturday September 3rd. Much like previous year, the Tacoma Craft Beer Festival (from noon to 9pm, at 21st Street Park located at 2101 Dock St in downtown Tacoma) celebrates beer in Washington while generating funds for a special charity. And who knows we might make the drive to Tacoma after all.

Tickets are $25 advanced or $30 at the door. Military discount available with active duty ID at the door only. Fred Meyer Reward Card members also receive a discount at the door. There will also be a limited number of VIP tickets available. Tickets available via Brown Paper Tickets at: https://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/187648 or via Brown Paper Ticket's 24/7 Ticket Hotline at: 1-800-838-3006.

Included with your $25 (prepaid) / $30 (at the door) ticket is a commemorative 5.5oz taster glass, 10 tasting tokens, and peace of mind knowing that the Boys & Girls Clubs of South Puget Sound will benefit.
