Raise your hand if you haven’t figured out what to your own mother. No? Well then you should probably stop reading this post right now.
If on the other hand you haven’t figured out where to take mom and fear that the local International House of Pancakes might be fully booked, we suggest you head over to Hood River and Full Sail Brewing’s Tasting Room for a Mother’s Day brunch.
In association with the Pink Boots Society, this one of a kind event allows you to share in your love of mom and beer.
“Having a chance to honor moms is something very special to us. A big percentage of the Full Sail crew is female and many of us are moms too. At Full Sail, we are not about business as usual. We are about truly appreciating our “human resources,” and building a culture that’s based on balancing work, life, family and friends,” said Irene Firmat, Full Sail’s Founder & CEO. “And who’s better at achieving that balance than mothers?”
Starting on Sunday (natch’) at 1:00 PM and running through 4, this Sunday event should go down as a classic for the you and your favorite girl.
Full Sail will open their brewhouse doors to guests and their moms for a fun and informative guided tour of the brewery. Meet the people behind the pints and learn about the art and science of crafting beer. You’ll also see the local ingredients used to concoct Full Sail’s award winning brews and learn a plethora of Full Sail fun facts and history, including their sustainable brewing practices.
After, you can sample brews and grab a bite in the Tasting Room and Pub and Full Sail will treat mom to a free dessert with the purchase of a meal. If there is one thing a brewer loves more than great beer - it's great food and great beer! Full Sail’s northwest inspired menu complements their award winning brews and features seasonal, local ingredients. Tours begin and end in the Tasting Room and Pub. Tours are free of charge at 1, 2, 3 and 4pm and each tour participant will receive a complementary glass. (Kids 12 and over welcome on Tours with parent or guardian.)
