Festival Preview: OR: 8/25 Laurelfest returns to Laurelwood’s ‘Sandy’ location

Raise your hand if you can recall your first Laurelfest experience, in the past 10 years. No? Well if you fall under the category of ‘no clue what Laurelfest is’ then we have an event for you.

Now in it’s 11th year, Laurelfest is Laurelwood Brewing’s celebration of the season and their brewpubs. With an emphasis on promoting great beers and good food, Laurelwood is a staple of Portland. And what better way than to celebrate with a party.

From Noon to 10 PM you are invited to drive, walk, bus, or taxi yourself; to what is being sold as an all-ages three band, all-day; barbecue.

Top things off the brewpub will be hosting beer, wine, and spirit tastings; as well as a 9-hole min-golf tournament. Bonus if you’re an adult comes in the form of a kegerator should you win.

Finally the brewery will be releasing beers throughout the afternoon to compel you to stay just a little bit longer.
