Event Planner: WA: 9/7 Schooner Exact invites you to learn about the beers and the bees, during hop harvest

Quick! Do you know what ingredients are in your beer? Yeah, yeah, we know the famous “four ingredients”. But do you REALLY know what is in your beer?! By this I mean do you know what hops or malt went into creating that Pale Ale, India Pale Ale, or Kolsch? No?!

Well would you like to know?!

Starting at 9am (and assuming you’ve purchased a ticket in advance), Schooner Exact is inviting you on a trip to the hop fields of the Virgil Gamache Hop Farm, in Toppenish.

Why Virgil Gamache Hop Farm? The answer is simple, Amarillo hops. Which is a key ingredient in many of the ales you consume in the region.

Buy Why September? To be honest this is the only time you will get an opportunity to see 18-foot tall shoots of hops, strung up like ivy, being chopped down. Starting in Seattle at 9am you and a limited number of, paying guests, will be driven from Seattle to Toppenish to view & interact with the hop fields in Toppenish.

What’s included? Included in your $200 ticket is a continental breakfast (prior to departure), a specially-prepared Schooner Exact picnic meal (from Schooner Exact’s own Chef Warren Peterson), and of course a chance to pick hops off the vine.

Did we forget to mention you would be participating in the brewing of a fresh-hop beer? Did we also forget to mention that you would be giving a bottle of this beer, once it’s ready?!

Stop thinking about it already! Contact the brewery (206) 432-9734 or stop by (3901 1st Avenue South) and get your ticket today!

Cheers
