Festival: Bellingham: Supporting service dogs and veterans, the Brigadoon Beer, Blues and Jazz Festival starts June 25th

(... Bellingham, WA)- Local breweries are teaming up with Brigadoon Service Dogs and Growing Veterans to present the Brigadoon Beer, Blues and Jazz Festival on June 25 at North Bellingham Golf Course.  The event will help raise funds for services to disabled veterans.
The Brigadoon Beer, Blues, and Jazz festival is an exclusive, one-day event featuring four live bands along with beer tasting from up to thirty local breweries and microbreweries. Breweries will include Wander Brewing, Hilliard’s Beer, and a number of others represented by Dickerson Distributors and Walton Beverage.
Blues and jazz musicians from Bellingham, Whidbey Island and New York City will be performing throughout the festival. Scheduled performers will include The Heebie-Jeebies, Sonia Alexis, Seabreeze Jazz, and the Sam Ben-Meir Band.
“The funds we generate support our unfunded veterans programs in Whatcom county and gets dogs to veterans who were disabled serving their country” said Zacchoreli Frescobaldi-Grimaldi, Executive Director of Brigadoon Service Dogs.
Advance tickets are available at http://www.brigadoonbeerbluesandjazzfestival.com/. Admission for band performances only is $15, while $25 will also provide access to all breweries (must be 21 or older) and a buffet prepared by Chef Nick Moss from North Bellingham Golf Course’s 9 Restaurant.  Tickets will also be available at the door on the day of the event.
