CANNON BEACH, Ore. ... Public Coast Brewing Co., named after Oregon’s 363 miles of free and open coastline, is the presenting sponsor of HAYDAY!  40 Oregon Beers, 1 Epic Beer Fest. Taking place on Saturday, Aug. 26 at Haystack Gardens in Cannon Beach, the event will feature 40 Oregon craft brews, including coastal breweries and beyond and - of course - the new People’s Pale from Public Coast.

“We are so proud to be a part of Oregon’s renowned beer industry. When we opened our doors in 2016, we truly felt the camaraderie and collaboration from our peers,” said Ryan Snyder, owner of Public Coast. “As the inaugural Cannon Beach beer festival, HAYDAY! is our way to showcase all those breweries who helped us from the start, and bring together some of our closest industry friends for a day filled with great beer, awesome food and a ton of fun.”

Guests will enjoy fantastic eats from the Wayfarer Restaurant & Lounge’s Executive Chef Josh Archibald and his mobile smokehouse, with desserts by Ruby Jewel Ice Cream. Music to be performed by Nate Bodsford.

Public Coast Brewing announces their latest release, Currant Vanilla Tart Ale.

“We love how fresh currants taste like the love child of a cranberry and a sugar cube: bright, tart yet not too puckery,” said Will Leroux, Public Coast’s head brewmaster. “We decided to add a vanilla note to mellow out and balance the flavors, bringing hints of a freshly baked pie.”

Public Coast Brewing releases Mango Jalapeño Tart Ale, along with Blueberry Wheat & '67 Blonde Ale.

“Whether beer lovers are looking for a playful twist on a sour, a catch-and-release beer celebrating Oregon’s summer bounty, or the quintessential blonde ale, we have them covered,” said Will Leroux, Public Coast’s head brewmaster. “We’re especially excited to debut the Mango Jalapeño Tart Ale, which is the newest addition to our adventurous Sour Series — it was made for enthusiasts who savor tart, juicy beers with layers of nuanced flavor.”

The new Mango Jalapeño Tart Ale, a 5.7% ABV radiant blend of Public Coast Farm’s poblano peppers paired with Hawaiian-grown mangoes, offers an innovative American-style sour beer that delivers tropical and warm aromas, a light body, and a tart, dry finish.

Their first shandy, Public Coast Brewing releases Blueberry Fields.
