Buoy Strata Fresh IPA

September in the Northwest brings warm evenings, new school years, and the much anticipated hop harvest. All of the year's hops are harvested in a little over 30 days and dried for use throughout the year, making late summer the only opportunity to brew with hops fresh from the bine. This year's fresh hop IPA was brewed with flaked oats and rye malt for a flavorful, smooth body with additions of Azacca, El Dorado, and Meridian hops for that classic NW hop bite. The fermenting beer was then moved to a bright tank full of fresh Strata from Goschie Farm in Silverton, harvested the same morning, to finish out and be kegged and consumed days later.
