(OR) Deschutes Continues Expansion Into Minnesota

Deschutes Brewery, one of the nation’s largest craft breweries, announced today that it has expanded to additional markets in Minnesota due to a new partnership with C&L Distributing.  Deschutes beers were launched in the greater Minneapolis-St. Paul region only earlier this year through a partnership with J.J. Taylor Distributing Company of Minnesota, the largest beer distributor in the state.

“We’ve had such a tremendous response in the Twin Cities region, that we are looking forward to bringing our beers to more areas in the state,” said Gary Fish, president and founder of Deschutes Brewery.  “Minnesota is a place where people are definitely passionate about their beer, and we’ve witnessed this passion directly since launching last spring.”

Through this expansion plan, Deschutes beer will have widened availability in cities such as St. Cloud, Waite Park, St. Joseph, Sauk Rapids, Cold Spring, Little Falls, Baxter, Brainerd and Walker.

About Deschutes Brewery

Located in beautiful Bend, Oregon, Deschutes Brewery is in the business of daring people to expect more from their beer. That's why we started off in 1988, on the banks of the Deschutes River here in Bend, Oregon, by selling Black Butte Porter at a time when others were sure a dark beer would never catch on. Our brewers love to push the envelope, especially if it makes someone nervous.  But for us, the highest praise is a raised glass and a toast of "Bravely Done!"  For more information about Deschutes Brewery and its courageously crafted beers, please visit www.DeschutesBrewery.com.
