imageRedmond, WA – Seems like the Washington Beer Commission’s Winter Fest is one day behind us and already thoughts are roaming towards the next beer. After a short unpublished hiatus from making release announcements, Black Raven is happy to inform us of an upcoming beer.

Translated from Belgium to English as Little Death, this beer has turned heads and given out a few hangovers, since its inception over a year ago. With this in mind, the brewers at Black Raven decided to age this beer in repurposed bourbon barrels to create a beer that the 2010 World Beer Cup to award this beer Silver Medal at the World Beer Cup in Chicago, IL.

And for those who recall its presence at last year’s WABC Winter Fest, it was the People’s Choice that year.

But with everything wonderful, there is a catch, as this beer will be available at the pub only. Also, there will be no keg or growler fills allowed, so as to encourage everyone to come in and have a glass (or two). Release kicks off at 4:00 PM at the Tasting Room on Tuesday of this week (December 14th, 2010).
