PORTLAND, Ore. - April 20, 2022 - Von Ebert Brewing, the award-winning and locally owned Portland-based brewing company, this week will debut three new beers made in collaboration with the popular southern California brewery, Beachwood Brewing.

“We had the pleasure of traveling down to Long Beach to brew with the Beachwood crew in March 2020, and then again last month, and now we’re finally able to share the output of those trips here in Portland,” explained Sam Pecoraro, head brewer, Von Ebert Brewing. “Our friends at Beachwood are making some phenomenal beer and the opportunity to learn from them and share what we’re doing here in Portland was amazing.”

Constancy of Change is a 6.5% ABV Belgian-inspired sour ale refermented with pixie mandarins from UC South Coast and Beachwood’s own blend of five spice. The blend has bright savory and sweet aromas consisting of citrus peel, stone fruit, and herbs that blend perfectly with the lambic-inspired beer.

Infinite Resonance is a 6.5% ABV Belgian-inspired sour ale fermented with ruby red grapefruit from UC South Coast and salt. The salt with the zest and juice from the red grapefruits provide intense citrusy and floral notes, with a touch of savoriness.

Hybrid Simulation is a 7.1% ABV West Coast-style IPA that fused Simcoe Cryo, Ekuanot, CTZ, and Simcoe hops uniquely selected from each brewery. It conjures explosive flavors of sweet grapefruit and pine resin.

All three beers will be available in very limited quantities on draft and in cans beginning on Thursday, April 21, at the Von Ebert Glendoveer and Pearl brewpubs.
