Maintain the counter, pour beer, recover the beer hall, change and wash kegs, set up events, clean the bathrooms, sweep and mop the floors as needed, and any other tasks to keep the beer hall operating and sparkling

Requirements

Ability to drink, taste, smell and describe beer

Ability to read and follow written English instructions

Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs and be on your feet for prolonged periods

Ability to regularly twist, turn, kneel, climb, stoop, bend, crawl, lift and carry supplies and equipment weighing up to 130 pounds using appropriate techniques and tools

Ability to work in a factory/production environment which may be loud, slick, humid, cold, and hot

Ability to comply with and enforce all health, safety, and personal hygiene policies and standards

MAST (Mandatory Alcohol Server Training) Class 12 permit, Washington State Food Handlers permits, and Cicerone Beer Server Certification (you will have 30 days from hire to obtain these if you don’t already hold them)

The hourly rate starts at $25/hour. We practice Pay Transparency so all employee pay rates are visible to all employees.

We offer health, dental and vision insurance with 100% the premium paid by the company for staff working more than 30 hours/week.

We provide four paid holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas (we are usually open for the others) as well as your birthday!

Full-time employees accrue up to 13 more days of paid time off per year; part-time employees accrue PTO at the same rate but just end up with fewer days as a result.

All employees can participate in our retirement benefit program and Optimism matches up to 3% of your contribution.

We offer an additional $50 benefit for all employess which can be applied to Student Loan repayment OR an Educational Savings program (529) OR Tuition Reimbursement.

Deliver beer around Seattle and help support operations in the brewery

Are you self-motivated, and friendly, know how to get across town in a safe and timely manner, and are looking to work with an amazing and supportive crew of people?

We're looking to add a member to our growing team to help deliver beer to our many wholesale accounts around Seattle and also help us out in the brewery. Accounts include everything from grocery store chains to small shops and bars. If you're someone with a great attitude that will represent Holy Mountain in a friendly and positive way while working with our close-knit team, we'd love to talk to you.

Your duties will include

--delivering kegs and cases to wholesale accounts around Seattle. You must be able to maneuver kegs weighing up to 160lbs each in a safe manner. We will teach how to handle and load safely and properly

--keeping invoices, receipts and cash organized and secure

--driving different models of medium to large-sized vans safely around Seattle

--interacting in a positive and friendly manner to all accounts, and maintaining these important relationships

--operating a pallet jack and hand truck in an efficient manner

-- operating a forklift (or willing to be trained and certified)

--making corrective decisions on the fly and managing your day and time efficiently

--helping out at the brewery when needed. This might include helping to can, label and bottle, and some occasional keg washing. We're a small brewery and wear a lot of different hats. This is a great opportunity to learn the inner workings of a brewery and to pick up some extra hours.

Qualifications

--Clean driving record, current license, and reliable mode of transportation. No exceptions.

--Brewing industry experience or warehouse experience preferred, but not required

--Ability to safely move heavy objects properly and safely. Kegs weigh up to 165 lbs.

--Experience with Forklift and Pallet jacks preferred, but not required.

--great attitude, stellar communication skills, and ability to take direction

-- be able to problem solve and find solutions on your own

--Basic computer skills

Compensation, Benefits and PTO

--$25/hour for a 30-hour week to start with the possibility of going to 40 hours in the future.

Marketing Development Representative - SGWS

Job Description

This position is responsible for achieving customer objectives, Key Performance Indicators, and sales and distribution targets by implementing strategies and tactics while managing customers in a manner that will achieve profitable long-term growth of Odom products.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Work with General Sales Manager, Trade Development and Sales Management in building and implementing brand strategies. Brands to include but not limited to Wine and Spirits.

  • Develop specific measurable and attainable brand programs for sales consultants.

  • Sell to core list of accounts in on premise trade channel including local, regional and national accounts.

  • Conduct market surveys and work with supplier representatives.

  • Liaise with sales management and supplier personnel to plan, execute, and follow-through on promotional events hosted at on premise accounts.

  • Create and foster relationships among sales teams, key on premise accounts and supplier representatives.

  • Compile, review, and communicated sales data results against sales goals.

  • Provide timely updates and recaps with sales management and supplier representatives.

  • Train and coach innovation plans and execution with sales staff and trade customers.

  • Research and recommend local marketing opportunities for on sale accounts.

  • Coordinated and implement promotional brand activity across all account channels.

  • Survey on sale accounts with supplier reps and sales staff for success and opportunities.

  • Stay current with brand knowledge and training specific to the brands carried by the Odom Corporation.

  • Overnight travel as required. Additional hours required during the peak season of June and December and in accordance with fiscal plans.

  • Develop and manage key account relationships that deliver measurable results.

  • Create, coordinate and attend on-site promotional functions at established customer accounts (e.g. wine maker dinners, product launches, and tastings)

  • Proficient at calculating pour cost, percentages, and reviewing comparative sales data for analysis.

  • Stay apprised and ensure compliance of federal, state and local laws affecting the beverage/alcohol industry within account responsibility.

  • Comprehensive understanding of available analytics to include Margin Minder, Compass, Teams and SharePoint and ROI profile development by account.

  • Provide analytical and technical support to SGWS senior management and sales organization.

  • Work with and support the sales team as needed with flexibility and professionalism.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

  • Must have valid driver’s license, good driving record, proof of auto insurance (SR-22 is not acceptable), and own means of reliable transportation.

  • Prefer beverage sales and/or merchandising experience, knowledge of local market, customer service skills, and experience in the distribution industry.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Must be self-motivated, a self-starter, and able to work with very little direct supervision.

About the Company 

We are a rapidly growing cidery based out of Wenatchee, Washington (production) and Seattle, Washington (taproom). Established in 2020, we are distributed throughout Washington state, with a shared taproom in the heart of Seattle’s Ballard Brewing District. Picked and pressed in Wenatchee, Washington – the heart of Apple Country – we create cider that's as balanced, bright and complex as the land itself. Crafted using a blend of bittersweet cider apples and juicy dessert apples, our ciders are hardly simple, and never straightforward, but you can always count on them being interesting. 

About the Position

Yonder Cider is seeking a Western Washington Sales Representative to join our team. This position works autonomously on a day-to-day basis, focusing on the development of new accounts and maintaining current accounts within their territory. A high emphasis is placed on increasing the availability and visibility of products in new and existing accounts by using consultative sales tactics. The Sales Representative is responsible for managing our retail market presence, driving brand awareness, product representation, and sales at on and off-premise retail accounts, working with distributor partners, and at promotions and special events throughout their assigned distribution territory. This position is based in (or near) Seattle, supporting Western Washington from Olympia up to Stanwood, including the mountain passes.

Preferred Capabilities 

  • Ability to represent Yonder Cider responsibly and professionally at all times, including supporting and promoting our mission and company culture

  • Knowledge and appreciation for the craft beverage alcohol industry and the hospitality industry; knowledge of the three-tier system is a plus

  • Strong organizational, communication, time management, prioritization, and problem-solving skills

  • Strong work ethic when working independently and as part of a team to achieve company-wide goals 

  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills

  • Maintain ongoing positive interaction with distributor sales personnel and decision makers at accounts for sales, marketing, education, and events

  • Able to work a flexible schedule outside of regular business hours (based on account contacts’ schedules), including some nights and weekends (some travel may be required)

  • Must have their own vehicle, valid Driver's License, current insurance coverage and clean driving record

Minimum Qualifications

  • Desire to build a career in sales

  • 1-3 years of proven results-oriented experience in outside sales or within the food & beverage industry in distribution or merchandising

  • Computer and/or app experience with a CRM is a big plus

Compensation

Job Type: Full-time, salaried & exempt 

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year, DOE (base salary plus performance based bonus elements)
