This beer is our rebuttal to a fly-by-night pizza joint masquerading as a beer bar.  A manager from said establishment sent us a message on Instagram claiming that our selection is alright but our vibes were whack. Unbeknownst to most their manager had been permanently banned from our establishment earlier this year for inappropriate behavior towards myself and a female colleague.

We’re excited for our fans to be able to experience Victory Hall on Opening Day and continue to see The Boxyard grow. Our expansion in the Sodo neighborhood is part of our larger goal to invest in our community and help bring more economic opportunities to the place we call home.

Hell Cat Energy is a great example as to why we at Bottleworks are so passionate about collaborations. We are driven to use our platform to connect and foster community. We accomplished just that with this meeting of minds. It was quite the honor to be brewing on Bale Breakers system along side the 23rd Ave team. There were many moments during that brew day that made me stop in my tracks, just to take in the scene. As a women of color in an industry I am not always represented in, I felt such a sense of pride that my team was able to facilitate this incredible moment in Seattle Craft Beer history

At 4.3 percent ABV, this beer is smooth and easy drinking, yet rich in flavors of honey, and notes of espresso, finishing slightly herbal. We really hope this beer creates a "buzz" around town!!

Notably, there were some who had better things to do, like stay in business, than respond with less than 3 days notice. But to be fair, we weren't given much notice either!

Starting with vintage, we have listed every beer at Brouwer's Cafe that is more than a few years old in the Vintage section. Then, as the 'Cafe likes to organize their menus, we are breaking the younger barleywines down by state (or region if there is only one).
